Angel Lee Xin Ying
Hello, I'm Angel, a recent Digital Animation graduate who enjoys transforming concepts into visual narratives.
I like to sketch, imagine new worlds, and create unique characters that are influenced by ordinary life, fantasy, and emotions. Curiosity, in my opinion, is the first step toward creativity. Sometimes it begins as a brief sketch, a haphazard idea, or perhaps an emotion and gradually develops into its own narrative.
Throughout my time in college, I experimented with several aspects of digital art and animation, including creating 3D environments and props with Autodesk Maya. I enjoy creating environments and items that give a world a sense of life and plausibility.
I also like using Adobe After Effects and other creative tools for motion design and movie production. I can freely experiment and add more emotion to my work by experimenting with effects, color, transitions, and visual rhythm.
Imagination is, in my opinion, one of the most crucial aspects of being an artist. I enjoy experimenting, trying out new methods, and learning by doing. Every project gives me the opportunity to produce something fun, important, and entirely original.

Childhood
A Short Animation by Angel
Goodbye My Childhood tells the heartfelt story of Xin Ying, a woman who returns to her childhood street in Pudu after 20 years, only to find that it is marked for demolition.
As she stands among the familiar surroundings, memories flood back—of her joyful childhood spent with her loving grandparents, helping at their store, riding her grandfather’s bicycle through a bustling street, and listening to Teresa Teng's music.
Through emotional flashbacks, we see the warmth of her upbringing, the playful innocence of her younger self, and the deep bond she shared with her grandparents. Now faced with the reality of change and loss, Xin Ying must come to terms with the end of an era.
In the pouring rain, as the street stands silent and abandoned, she silently bids farewell—not just to the place, but to a part of herself. This touching story explores themes of nostalgia, memory, family, and the inevitable passage of time.

However, trouble brewed two unscrupulous villains plotted to destroy their beloved shop. Determined to protect their bakery, the girl her feathery friend devised a clever plan to outsmart the bad guys and save their sweet haven.
